Me Scheme

The Me Scheme came about out of necessity to do something with myself. I have been unemployed for months, and the monotony of daily rituals and job applications to pass the time by was getting to be a bit mischievous. So, a few months back thanks to the amazing idea of my sister Lisa, I started an Etsy sight, devellesbakery, selling homemade cookies, brownies, and popcorn. I thought my efforts would go somewhere that I would be self employed for life. Well, with one order in three months coming from a dear friend (thanks Melanie E.) I thought perhaps a rediscovery of self was needed. How better than to make myself a project to a reinvention of what already is, and make it better. But I didn't liked defining myself as a project, so I decided I would scheme myself into doing the work. Thus the me scheme came to be.

I went to the library and bookstore to the self-help sections, hoping to get ideas on characteristics or motivational inspirations to inspire each day of my scheme. However, I found more interest in the photography/fiction/cooking books than I found in any of the self-help. Not that I am looking for self help, but more of self discovery. So I'll invent new things each day to do, and hopefully soon enough perhaps I'll find the ultimate scheme to my life along the way.
